The homecoming event on May 13th 2017 in Peterborough Ontario was a history making event.
The Memorial Civic Center was jammed packed to the rafter’s and after 36 years without
any professional boxing the people got more then they ever expected.The Homecoming promoted by CCC Promotions and United promotions (Tyler Buxton ) was nothing short of a world class event. The under card was exciting and full of action and kept people in their seats till finally their hero came to the ring and when the bell rang Cody Crowley and his opponent Edgar Ortega (Mexico) went at it and they never let up till the bell rang at the end of the 10th and final round with Cody Crowley winning the main event via unanimous decision
and taking the C.P.B.C.International Light- Middle weight Championship. I guess its safe to say after an event like this one the people in Peterborough Ontario wont have to wait another 36 years before another show. Plans are being discussed for another show, with a date to be announced later.
