Welcome to the official site of the Canadian Professional Boxing Council, the longest reigning sanctioning body for professional boxing in Canada and also now sanctioning abroad. This site is dedicated to the memory of the late Jerry Doiron Sr. (senior advisor) and the late Vince Bagnato (past president).

The C.P.B.C. is pleased to announce we are now affiliated with the Africa Professional Boxing Commission to better the sport on the international level.

IN ENOCH RECREATION CENTER IN ENOCH ALBERTA WAS THE SITE WERE TWO HEAVY WEIGHT .JAYE BYARD 6 WINS AND 6 KO'S AND BENJAMIN ALVAREZ 4 WINS AND 4 KO'S WOULD FIGHT FOR THE CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. ALVAREZ WAS THE YOUNGER MAN GOING IN BUT AS THEY SAY AGE IS JUST A NUMBER AND AFTER 6 ROUNDS LEN KOIVISTO STOP THE FIGHT AWARDING JAYE BYARD A 6 ROUND TKO AND THE NEW C.P.B.C. CANADIAN CHAMPION. JAYE IS NOW 7 WINS AND 7 KO'S. THE SHOW WAS PUT TOGETHER BUY REAL DEAL PROMOTION .

C.P.B.C. Canadian middleweight Champion

New Middle weight Champion

C.P.B.C has a new middleweight Champion and his name is Jan Michael Poulin who fought an awesome fight stopping his opponent in the 7th round of a scheduled 10 round fight.
the action was none stop till the end The promoter New Era Promotions but on a fantastic show with many exciting bouts. Another bout to mention was Jay Byard's destruction of Tom Vautour stopping him
in the 1st round of a scheduled 6 rounder. Jay record is now 6 wins with 6 ko's. we cant wait for another show from New Era Promotions. Job well done.

TIM PETITPAS

The C.P.B.C. would like to welcome Mr. Tim Petitpas as a new board member. Tim is a former Featherweight Fighter from back in the 80s and brings his experience of pro boxing to the table.
Tim is well respected in the boxing community and will be an great asset to the C.P.B.C. Tim Petitpas welcome to the C.P.B.C.

C.P.B.C. New Champions.

Saturday Night in Richmond Hill Ontario at the Premier Ball and Convention Center hosted a night of fights with WBC and Atlas Boxing with 2 C.P.B.C. Title fights first the C.P.B.C. Eastern Canadian Woman's Bantam weight between Tania Walters vs Lindsay Garbatt but after 8 exciting close rounds Tania Walter wins by split decision. The 2nd title fight was for the C.P.B.C. International .Super Heavyweight Championship between Junlong Zhang taking on Guillermo Casas from Mexico at the end of it all Junlong wins the 10 round decision and is the new C.P.B.C.

Michelle Nelson R.I.P.

the C.P.B.C. has learned that Michelle Nelson passed away today after a long battle with cancer. Michelle was a C.P.B.C. Women's Bantamweight Canadian Champion fighting then Peggy Maerz it was a war between them with Michelle winning the Canadian Title at the end of it all. Michelle was trained by John Deviston both from Saskatoon. Michelle was a true Warrior and her long battle with cancer proved that. C.P.B.C. will always remember Michelle Nelson our first Canadian Women Bantamweight Champion.
R.I.P Champ we will miss you.

Alex Torres Rynn (West/ East) Champion

Empire Promotions Boxing Show on April 30th 2021 was a great success and a action pack fight card. After the undercard was the main event that saw Alex Torres Rynn taking on late comer Jose Luis Zarate
It was great fight but Alex Torres prove he was to much for Jose Luis Zarate, Alex stopped Jose in the 6th round via Tko. Alex Torres Rynn wins and is the new C.P.B.C. Western/Eastern Canadian Lightweight Champion.
Hats of to Jose Luis Zarate for a great performance on such a late notice.
